The 10.000m Road replaces the 12.600m Road. The new race includes official electronic timing. The entry fee remains the same. Existing entries for the 12,600m will be converted by the Race Organisation into entries for the 10,000m.
If any of the registered runners in the 12,600m race wish to cancel their participation and receive a refund, they can submit their request in writing to info@olympiamarathon.gr

DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
Eligibility to participate
To participate in the 10km race a runner must be at least 12 years of age.
The runner participates in the "race" at his/her own risk, having undergone the necessary medical examinations and having had the necessary cardiac check-up. He/she also declares that the information given in the application form is absolutely true. He waives any claim against the organizers of the "race" for any physical or other injury or damage from any cause and consents to the free use of his name/image by the media, the organizer, and the sponsors of the "race" for promotional purposes. Finally, he/she undertakes that under no circumstances and for no reason whatsoever will he/she assign the entry number allocated to him/her by the Organizing Committee of the "race" to another person in order to participate in the "race". The runner accepts all the above conditions of participation.
*Theconsent of a parent/guardian is required for underage runners.
Distinctions - Prizes
Trophies (medal and diploma) are awarded to the first three winners of the general classification of Men and Women of all the Roads of the racing program. A trophy is awarded only to the first athlete of each Race. All runners who finish will be awarded a commemorative medal.
Cash prizes
The top three overall finishers of the 10.000m Road Race will receive the following prizes:

3rd place: €50
Entries for the 10km Road Race will close on November 12, 2025.
- Participation in the "race" is at the absolute personal risk of the runners.
- Runners are required to have had the necessary medical examinations and cardiac screening.
- They are required to declare responsibly that the information on the entry form they fill in is absolutely true.
- Runners waive any claim against the organisers of the "race" for any physical or other injury or damage from any cause, and consent to the free use of their name/image by the media, the organiser and sponsors of the "race" for promotional purposes.
- Participants undertake that under no circumstances and under no circumstances will they assign their entry number to another person in order to participate in the "race".
- Runners accept all of the above conditions of entry.

- Access to water and WC, as well as medical support, will be available every 2.5 km

Please carry your registration number with you with the integrated timing chip that you will receive from the Registration Centre throughout the race.
ATTENTION
Competitors who will not display an electronic indication at the indicated points of the races will be cancelled.
NOTE
Detailed information on the above will be provided in the Technical Instructions that will be distributed electronically to the participating runners.
There will be electronic control and timing mats along the Half Marathon route at the following points:
- Start
- 5th km.
- Finish line at the start of the 5th km.

Registrations are divided into:
a. Individual, which are made by individuals. Individuals: Individuals: Individuals: On receipt of the sports equipment, it is necessary to show their identity card and proof of deposit of the participation fee.
In case of receipt of equipment of another runner, it is necessary to show a photocopy of the identity card or passport of the representative of the runner.
During the operation of the Registration Centre, underage runners who have registered individually will have to present their identity card or another official public document - a certificate of identity - in order to receive their sports equipment.
b. Groups, for 10 or more persons, without limitation on the choice of the Road Race. Group registrations are addressed to sports clubs, runners' clubs, gyms, companies, schools, private and public organizations, travel agencies, and simple groups of people who wish to participate as a team. A team leader, who may be a runner himself, is appointed at the time of team registration. In any case, the team leader represents the team in various matters vis-à-vis the organisers.
The team leader, when collecting his/her team equipment, should carry his/her identity card and proof of deposit of the team's entry fee. If it is not possible for the team captain to collect the equipment, his replacement, as the team representative, must be officially designated to the organisation, who must have his identity card and proof of the deposit of the team's participation fee with him when collecting the equipment.
In case there are underage runners in the team, the team captain is responsible for filling in their parents/guardians' details on the entry form so that their application can be accepted in order to collect their equipment.
The unofficial results are announced on the internet immediately after the end of the matches.
All participants have the right of appeal after the end of the race, within ten (10) working days. The official results are announced within fifteen (15) working days after the end of the race.
