  • Only properly and timely registered runners may participate in the races of the event.
    The event is held on the date set as its conducting day, regardless of weather conditions. Only in the case of exceptional circumstances or other force majeure events does the Race Organizing Committee reserve the right to decide to postpone the start or cancel the race, depending on the prevailing conditions. In such a case, following consultation and approval from the official governmental agencies, institutional supporters, and public safety and health authorities, the participation fee for the race is not refunded to registered runners.

  • The Organizing Committee reserves the right to change the race program, the terms and regulations of participation, and the conduct of the race without prior notice, by posting on the official website of the event.

  • The personal information provided by the participant when submitting the participation form is absolutely true. In case the application/statement of participation is submitted by a third party, it is considered that the participant agrees to the sharing of their personal data with the Organizing Committee of the Race through the third party.

  • Participants accept that their personal data is provided to third parties for the purposes of timing, compiling the results list, and publishing these results on the internet. The personal data of the participant, provided during the registration process, will be stored and used exclusively for purposes related to the conduct of the race. By registering, the participant agrees that their data will be processed for the purposes of the race, in accordance with World Athletics and AIMS regulations. Any other processing of the participant’s personal data is done only with the consent of the data subject and for the specific purpose stated each time.

  • Participants in the event consent to the use of their image, taken during the race by the organizers, sponsors, or other partners of the event, for publicity and future promotion purposes, without any right to total or partial compensation for this reason.

  • Participants consent to being photographed during the day and hours of the race by event photographers and the Official Event Photo Agency, as well as to the recording of their image in video, filming, or other visual recording of the event. Participants agree to the use of such images and their reproduction in combination with their name and surname. The related commercial rights of these materials belong exclusively to the event, and participants have no ownership rights to the above photos or other recordings, nor any right to total or partial compensation for this reason.

  • The photos and videos of the participants are posted on the website of the Official Photo Agency of the race, they are visible to any interested party, and remain so without time limitation. Any photo may be purchased by an interested party through the website of the Official Photo Agency of the race. In any case, participants may contact the Organizers for matters relating to the processing described in this paragraph.

  • The Organizing Committee of the event reserves the right to suspend or close registrations without prior notice.

  • Registration for any of the event’s races is possible only through the online registration platform available on the event’s website or by other means indicated by the Organizing Committee.

  • Race numbers are collected in person by registered runners exclusively from the Registration Center, during its operating days and hours, upon presentation of identification or other legal identification document (e.g., passport, driving license). The registered runner may authorize another person to collect their personal race number from the Registration Center with a notarized authorization or with a simple authorization, at their own responsibility, provided their representative brings the participant’s identification or other legal identification document (e.g., passport, driving license).

  • To collect the race number, in addition to presenting identification or other legal identification document (e.g., passport, driving license), the registered runner must also present the confirmation email clearly stating their race number.

  • Participants must strictly follow the instructions of the organizers, volunteers, and event staff, including calls to leave the course and to stop the race.

  • Any violation or non-compliance with the event regulations, or the international regulations of World Athletics, will result in the participant’s exclusion from the race and removal from the results, without any compensation.

  • The race number is personal and may not be transferred, assigned, or given to another runner under any circumstances.

  • Participants must have read and respect the instructions provided by the Organizing Committee in electronic or printed form throughout the pre-race period (e.g., Technical Instructions, Race Program, etc.), which are also posted on the event’s website.

    Each participant must provide, on their own responsibility, the required details on the back of their race number, whether these relate to requested contact details or personal medical data.

  • The use of bicycles or any other wheeled vehicles is not permitted during the race on the course, whether by runners or accompanying persons. In such a case, the directly involved participant will be excluded from the event and must immediately withdraw.

  • The official time is the time from the starting gun. The net time is the time from when the participant crosses the starting line mat to their finish.

    Race ranking is based on the official finish times. Net time and intermediate times are provided only for the participant’s information.

  • The Organizing Committee guarantees that it will not collect, register, store, use, reproduce, transmit, distribute, or otherwise process Personal Data in any way or form other than what is absolutely necessary to fulfill its obligations.

    The Organizing Committee guarantees the confidentiality of the Personal Data it processes and ensures that this processing is carried out exclusively by absolutely necessary and expressly authorized persons.

  • The Organizing Committee will take appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a suitable level of security against risks to protect the data subjects and will use all appropriate means, such as encryption, anonymization, pseudonymization, antivirus, firewall, web portals, etc., to uphold the principles of confidentiality, integrity, availability, and reliability of the Personal Data it processes so that such processing complies with the requirements of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and national law.
